Serving Those Who Have Served

Serving Those Who Have Served, USC’s first annual veteran career event, by all accounts was a resounding success. Comprised of 26 employers (e.g., Warner Bros., Aramark and Northrup Grumman) and attended by nearly 275 veterans, we feel that an environment was created that was optimized to support veterans in finding career opportunities and getting hired.

In the coming months we will be reporting on the effectiveness of this event and will be providing the number of veterans who found and started new careers as a result of attending this event. More to come….

One of the most pressing national issues we are facing today is the health and well-being of our United States Veterans. The University of Southern California is pleased to sponsor and requests your participation in a U.S. veteran hiring event entitled “Serving Those Who Have Served”, being hosted on campus at the Davidson Conference Center on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 9:00am - 5:00pm. The primary focus of this event will be on connecting veterans with real jobs and not just informational interviews. This is a first-ever event of its kind at USC, and is one we hope will become an annual tradition for years to come!

All current service members and veterans are welcome to attend this event in order to:

  • Apply for open positions in the Los Angeles-area
  • Meet with employers -- including USC schools and offices -- seeking to hire veterans
  • Attend educational sessions on skill translation, networking, and more!

Some of the participating Employers include:
