| Due to high demand, many employees have
been wait-listed for Professional Development classes they would like to
attend. Unfortunately, many of those enrolled have not shown up nor
cancelled their registration in advance, leaving empty seats that could
have been filled. Our
goal is to enable more employees to participate in classes by reducing
no-shows and late cancellations. We have established our cancellation
policy to help address this frustration that many of you have expressed.
Please contact us with your questions or concerns.
- You may cancel
your registration in a class without penalty up to three business
days before the start of the class (please see the schedule below) by contacting Professional Development
at PDregistration@caps.usc.edu or (213) 740-5885.
- A $100
cancellation fee will be charged to your department if
you cancel less than three business days prior to the start of
the class, or if you do not cancel and do not attend the class.
- For multi-session classes, attendance is required at each session. If you cannot attend one of the sessions, you must cancel three business days prior to the first session to avoid the cancellation fee.
- Arriving late
or leaving early may affect receiving credit and/or incurring the cancellation
fee.
- Verify that a current e-mail address is used when registering for a class. If your e-mail address has changed, please update it in the online USC directory through your Home Department Coordinator.
