The University of Southern California's Radiation Safety Program operates under a Radioactive Materials License issued by the State of California Radiologic Health Branch.

This Program is designed to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and maintain worker radiation exposures As Low As Reasonably Achieveable (ALARA).

University Faculty that would like to work with radioactive material or radiation producing equipment / devices must obtain permission. The Radiation Use Application Forms   must be completed.
