     Rape Aggression Defense R.A.D.

girlThe Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) system is a program that teaches realistic self-defense tactics for women. The RAD system is a comprehensive, internationally recognized course taught by nationally-certified instructors. The course begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, then progresses to hands-on practice of RAD techniques. RAD is designed to teach women defensive concepts and techniques useful against various types of assault utilizing easy, effective and proven self-defense/martial arts tactics. Our goal is to provide women with the knowledge to make an educated decision about resistance. We teach women to take an active role in their own self-defense and psychological well being. If you are interested in receiving this training, complete the form below. You will need to complete a total of 12 hours of instruction to receive certification. RAD training updates are available free of charge at any participating agency throughout the U.S. For more information, please visit R.A.D. Systems: The National Standard in Self Defense .

For groups of more than 4 women, please call (213) 740-6224.
